Cyanuric acid (English: C3H3N3O3), Chinese alias: isocyanuric acid, cyanuric acid, 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-(1H , 3H, 5H) Triketone, etc., is a triazine-based organic compound used for the determination of manganese and as a chemical raw material. It is white crystal, odorless, slightly bitter and hygroscopic. Dissolved in hot water; hot alcohol; pyridine; dissolved hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid without decomposition, also soluble in sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide aqueous solution, insoluble in cold alcohol; ether; acetone; benzene and chloroform. Moderately toxic and irritating.
